worrying behaviour

our 3 year old jrt has at times for no apparent reason gone into a scared mode when she shakes, her tail`s between her legs and tries to hide,and in these freezing conditions when she is like this wants to go outside where she hides under the hedge

I would certainly get your dog checked by the vet, there is something going on that is either hurting or frightening, and with Christmas looming don't leave it as you would not want your dog to suffer or pay high call out charges over the holiday, so please go to the vet today.your dog is suffering in some way, I am sure this is the last thing you want.
