The Shakes

My 3 yr. old male Jack constantly shakes, not like shivering but actually shakes like what dogs do after a bath or getting wet. He does it several times a day....like a ton of times, and due to the awful shedding it just drives me crazy!!


Any ideas?

Jacks are high strung. If ours sense we are leaving the house and he will be alone he starts shaking like crazy. We have had the ears checked. We even tried a pill to help with anxiety, but it just made him clumsy. They are very smart and know when we are ready to leave. We have to assure him that it is Ok and we will be back.

When my dog was shaking a lot, I found out that she had an ear infection. You should go to the vet and get medication. Sometimes dogs also shake after a stressful situation. But if this is not the case I would get the ears checked.

I would check his ears, he might have an ear infection. Sounds like a trip to your vet is necessary. It is not normal so that means you need professional vet help.
