Sugar

This is my dog Sugar. She is an 10 yr old Jack Russell. She likes to pose for pictures, and loves the attention.

Sugar lives on 2 acres in Mississippi, where she runs an jumps an plays among all kinds of wildlife. She tries to be-friend a coyote one night but stopped dead in her tracks.She never moved. Such bravery.!! Sugar has killed at least 6 snakes an one was a copper-head. She picks them up an then shakes her head an snaps them in half..She runs away with them as if to warn me they will hurt me. I love her for this.She puts her own life in danger for me.
She always brings moles to me.and I reward her with treats..she loves cheese an carrot sticks. Loves raw vegetables.She eats all bugs outside, and chases frogs away..Sometimes I am amazed at her intelligence when I tell her to go to her bed, well she minds like a child. We play hide-an seek an she hides from my son an then runs fast an hides until he finds her ,,which gets her running fast. Oh how much fun she is!!
She loves to clean his face .all over..doesn't do me like that..When he scolds her she runs to me an puts her head on my knee an gets under my arm..What a laugh.!!:)
I hurt my knee an she would come and sniff my knee out an lay beside me..she knew I was hurt. She hears my son's truck coming down the road a mile ..( a deisel truck) and waits for him to drive up.. I did not hear it but she does.Smart dog!!I hope she lives along time..I love her so much!She does not like other dogs, that much an protects her yard ..All the squirrels look like rats climbing our trees because she gets their tails..ha. She sits quietly..an then runs an jumps like a deer and springs on her lil legs...jumps at least 4 ft or more up a tree. Amazing to me , her energy and patience. My pet turkeys would lay down beside her an then run with her sometimes. Oh yes she rides with my son in his lap while mowing an in the cart. That is my Sugar!!!
