spots on JRT

When my JRT was a pup, he didn't have any spots, except for on his tummy. He has gotten a lot of brown spots now on his hair all over him now that he is 9 years old. Is this common?

Hello,
This is perfectly normal for the JRT/MIXES and dalmation dogs.
If they ever become infected, like the schnauzer,
then it's time to see the VET.
