shedding

My jack seems to be shedding alot lately and its December and fairly cold what could be causing this? Shes pretty healthy and active maybe a bit over weight as well.

Hello Canada,
Your poochie is shedding and getting ready for her winter coat. It's all perfectly normal. If you want to get a few pounds off of her, I recommend the following: Buy a can of green beans and give those to her as "treats" during the day. Give her the regular treats that you give her in the morning and before bed.
In 2-3 weeks time she will lose 2-5 pounds.
The green beans are very good for her too (not the seasoned ones and don't put anything in them). My girl JoyJoy loves them! Only give her 1-2 green beans at a time.
