Sandy has been shaking and scratching his ear and a fluid seems to be coming out. He does not seem to be in pain and his ears look o.k?

I would certainly get him to the vet, the fact that he is shaking and scratching is a sign of pain and that something is wrong and if there is fluid in his ear he has pain, so please don't delay any longer get him to a vet and make him more comfortable.
