i have a female jack Russell who i didn't get until she was four she has not been spayed but want to her have her done what are the risks and will it be OK to do it at an older age many thanks!!

Hello,
Thanks for the great question. Even at her age, it is still best to spay. It will keep her from having pups later in life and protect her from diseases.
