Puppy

hi, i just got a 5 weeks jack russell and the former owners were giving her caned puppy food already and that surprised me since she is very young. is it OK for her to eat caned food already? also, she is been crying all day long and I'm worried because of that too. she doesn't have any shoots because she told me we have to wait until she is 8 weeks at least, what can i do about that, i don't want her to get sick!
