Paddy the Rescue Dog

This is a pic taken by the local press after my dog paddy saved a cross collie pup that someone had cruelly dumped down a storm drain. My friend was out shooting and herd the pup whimpering when he lifted the manhole cover the pup bolted down the pipe. He went to the farmer who tried drain rods but the pup was too deep. They came for my terriers and I put Paddy down and he chased the pup out. The other man in the pic is a member of the Scottish Society for the Prevention of cruelty to Animals. They were appealing for a home for the pup. Because of the story, he was found a new owner.
