My Jack Russell Terrier Patch

my patchie 1 and only

my patchie 1 and only

on the 27th of april 2006 i went to get my 2nd jack russell patch because i gave my 1st one (queenie) away, to my aunties best friend because my dad worked nights and she was in the house by herself all the time. When i got patch he was tiny and very naughty he used to run around the house weeing all over the floor. Patch was quite vicious but was adorable an he loved me. my dad bought him for me because i was 12 an old enough.

on the 19th of feb 2008 he passed away in his sleep on my dads bed early in the morning, 2 months away from his second birthday. four days before he died he wasn't eating so my dad took him to the vet and they said he had a bad virus but he was sent home with medicine. he was told to come back the next day to go on a drip but when my dad woke up he had died peacefully in his sleep. i went over that morning to visit him and i said my last goodbyes. on thursday he is getting buried in my nan an grandad's back garden.

i cant cope without him. patch was my life and i love him more than anything. i miss taking to him, for walks, sleeping with him, playing, feeding him gettin a kiss of him and stroking him. He was taken from this world at such a young age we didnt get to do all the things we wanted to do and see together. i just want to tell him how special he is and thanks so much for being more than a pet to me. patch i'm so proud of you and i'm proud and honored to of been your owner love u lots like jellytots r i p love mummy x x x x hope you have a great time in heaven missin you like crazy love mummy an all the family x x x x

So very, very sad.
by: Pics & Tics

It makes me so sad to hear those who just lost a Jack. They are so much like people that it's very hard to deal with.

Patch sounds like such a dear too.

All I can do is wish you the greatest comfort in this time of mourning. Time will soften the blow, but you'll never forget Patchie.

Kindest regards,

Trisha
