Mick Gets Too Curious

Mick is 4 yrs old and lives my home with his human kid another, and his dog brother, Fudge the Dalmatian. I adopted Mick just before his 3rd birthday at our local SPAC. He was seized from a small puppy mill operation along with about a dozen other dogs that day. Because he spent so much of his early life in a kennel, he had no idea hot to jump or dig as most Jacks are crazy about doing.
Only having had a larger breed, adopting little Mick took some getting used to. Often, at our local off leash I'll call his name looking for him only to find him behind me right at my heels. And as this picture shows, I had to get used to what trouble his size and curiosity can get him into. Last spring I prepared my window boxes and left the windows open slightly to let some of the air in. I went to get my camera to take a photo of the new flowers only to come back and find Mick OUTSIDE the window, standing in my planter! I was shocked! Obviously the Dalmatian would never fit through those opened windows, I quickly snapped a photo before pulling him inside. I never leave my windows without screens open more than an inch or two now!
