My Patchie
I rescued Patchie back in Nov of 2011 and he came to me from Miami he was in a high kill shelter in Miami and the woman Ellis that pulled him out of that nasty shelter saved him first.Patchie had a fractured pelvis and hip and Ellis brought him to her vet and had him fixed and for 4 months he was in a crate because of his inguries.Patch got all well and I went onto the Jack Russell rescue page and seen his picture and just fell in love immediality and we emailed back and forth and I knew he was going to be mine and she brought him to me in Sarasota Florida in Nov and I also have another Jack Russell named Elvis who I saved about 3 years ago and Elvis will be 5 on May 1st.Anyway to make the long story short Ellis brough Patchie to me and I did not know how Elvis would except Patchie so we went for a walk to get Elvis out of his territory and everything was great and fine and then we brought them both into my backyard and they played and played and Elvis is my Alpha male and Patchie is very submissive thank god and we have had our ups and our down but now they are perfect brother in everyway!I just wanted to share my story about my 2 boys Elvis and Patchie they are my world and mean everything to me always I do not know what I would do without them both.

Tilly and Mayia
Tilly is a sweet little girl who loves children, adults and other dogs
We have a hard time keeping her in our yard
She always wants to visit the dog next door and finds a way through the fence
We thought we had a JR proof yard but found out we have more work to do
Tilly loves to hunt mice and voles
When she visits her friend Mayia they love to hunt together
Mayia is 3 months older and much better at catching rodents
She will eat 2 to 3 voles a day
Her owner Gerald says she is flossing her teeth
Tilly has caught about 6 voles so far
When she goes into the yard to do her business she will stand still and listen for voles under the snow
When she locates them she will pounce and get them
She hunts like a fox or coyote
Really funny to watch

Ozzy (Osborne)is a six year old male, who is the friendliest dog you will ever meet, probably too friendly as he disappears all the time when you let him of his lead. He loves people and other dogs .. the bigger the better.
Ozzy's favourite hobby is football as we discovered one Sunday when he "joined" the local football team in the park. Not sure who was most surprised what he can do with a football, us or the team!

Penny is my adorable tiney Jack Russel, who is 7 yrs old. Her legs are only 2inch tall, and her tail is 1inch long. She gose everywere with me. She has her own babies crib with a sleeping bag in it for bed. She covers her eyes up with her paws at night too.
She loves running, playing with her ball, and making a squeaking racket with all the other toys she has in her basket.Best of all she loves just raking them all out. But shes a clever girl! She knows how to put them all back in her basket too!
She loves all the attention when she gose out in her Pet Stroller! She loves posing for a photo. And loves our girly nights in,trying new clothes on.

This is Prescot, I adopted him from a shelter in West Virginia, I am from Penna.
He is my Best Buddy, when Dad is driving truck, it's me and Prescot. He does a wonderful job of letting me know if something or someone is around the house.
He is 4 and 1/2 months now. And as you can see from his picture he is very Spoiled. I couldn't have asked for a better companion.

Tess's fourteenth anniversary
This is Tess. She is mostly Jack Russell with a touch of Foxie, or so the breeder told us. Fourteen years ago, we followed an ad in the paper to choose a Jack puppy. There were some lovely fat little toddling pups, but there was also a tiny skinny little thing. She wanted to come home with us. She was very young; my best guess is about five weeks old. Her mother had no milk, so she and her littermates were being plate fed. She wasn't doing so well.
We knew perfectly well we should NOT buy a pup that wasn't doing so well, but she really wanted to come home with us. She really REALLY wanted to come. So, we put down our money and took our pup.
She had fleas. She was lactose intolerant and threw up whenever we gave her milk. That explained why she was so thin. She was calcium deficient. We killed the fleas, fed her shredded chicken and calcium powder.
As she got stronger, she used to sit out on the lawn with our old spaniel Ace, who puppy-sat her. As she got bigger, she developed a passion for bath plugs and her ears stood straight up. She never did get very big... at fourteen she is looking frail and greying a lot. Her early bad start left her with digestive problems so she has "bad tummy" a few days a month and can't eat. She still has a few problems with claws and teeth, owing to the calcium deficiency as a pup. She is deaf. However - she is a happy fey little thing, and on her good days she hops about as spry as a cricket. Love ya, Tess!
