We are proud to announce that Willow is our May Jack of the Month winner!

Layla is a rehome.
She has been part of our family now for 17 months since she was just 14 months old.
Previously living in a 2nd floor, two bedroomed flat with a family of seven couldn't have been much fun, though I know she was loved, the 5 children must have pulled her about quite a lot as she had real issues about being touched when she came to us. She was also overweight and didn't seem to know how to be a dog.
Since joining our family she has lost weight and learned how to play, sniff, track & search with Buddy her JR 'brother' who is the same age & has been with us since he was 8 weeks old. She has taught Buddy some manners & how to come when he's called.
She has become a major piece of the jigsaw puzzle that makes up our family.

Meet Macy
she has a couple of names she comes to, Macy Lee and May May
she is five years old.
she loves to be lazy and sleep under the covers and snuggle beside you at night.
Macy has never leaves my side when I am home.
oddly, she is in love with nacho cheese doritos.
She has a red sweater she wears when she goes outside and she gives me a look like she is saying, " really ma?! my other friends aren't wearing them why do i have to?"
When you take her zebra collar off she feels like she has done something wrong and she hides under the bed until you put it back on her.
The only reason why we would take the collar off is when she takes her bath or just to brush her and maybe make her neck feel better.
Macy Lee is my best friend.
I have never loved anything so much before.

Bullit
We got Bullit as a puppy and he had been out source of entertainment for 8 years until his death from kidney failure about a month ago. One month from diagnosis til death. I miss him terribly. He loved to ride in the car, had backed down a possim twice his size, killed a warf rat in 2 seconds which was unlucky enough to scramble from a pile of trash, scouted out snakes in the yard chased sea gulls at the beach and he hated cats and racoons. He was very territorial when it came to the "his house". Visitors would have to ask his permission before sitting on the sofa. And, don't mess with his toys. But the thing I miss most about him is sitting on the sofa with him wrapped around my shoulders with his head right next to mine. Loved that dog. Lil Bullit I miss you.

I became disabled in 2011. I had many many months of physical therapy. My husband thought it would be a good idea to get a puppy. We had to put our last Jack down in November of 2010 after 14 years. We were heart broken. I didn't think I could be so attached to a dog again. So my therapist and I practiced with a 5 pound weight. Then one day, we got Willow. She is certainly differnet than our first JRT. Which is good. Willow is bringing life into our home. We couldn't love her more.

Sammy girl
Sammy, who is now mostly blind used to love to just chill on the boogie board in our pool. She would sometimes jump off and get the lead in her mouth and drag the boogie board to the steps so she could jump back on and then float some more. This would go on for hours. We have to stay with her now but she still loves to float!

Snoopy is 5 years old, getting a little gray around the face. He is much calmer than he used to be but he is still crazy when he first comes in from outside. He can jump 5 ft in the air and loves to play tug-a-war. He is my baby although we have other dogs. My son bought him for me when he went off to college. He is very intuitive to my feelings and emotions and tries to warn the other dogs when I am in a bad mood. Thats my baby snoop dog.
