can anyone get a JRT as a soft and wire haired? or is it not that common?

We also have a Jack and I was told he is what they call a "broken coat"; mostly smooth but with a bit of wiry as well. He's amazing - 13 years young!!!!!

Yes, my JRT Sally is smooth soft, with a little bit of wiry down her back.
