Jack Russell wont eat!!

We have a 8 month old JRT and she just doesn't eat!! we have tried feeding her in the morning then in the evening but she isn't interested, then we tried putting food in her bowl to eat what she whats, however she is a big girl and she'll have no problem eating mine or my partners food that we leave over! Should we worry about her weight? or is it that she enjoys to eat when she wants to eat.
