In fact she does have three black spots on her back. I know the mother had a few pups, but not sure where they all went but I wish I had all of them. She is the cutest, sweetest most well behaved dog and I haven't seen any that look like her.Do you have a picture posted of your dog?

Your dog looks just like my almost four year old, terrier mix; got from a wonderful shelter. Does yours have three large black spots on her back? I have only seen one like her, and that was her mother! How cute yours is!

This Could Be a Picture of My Dog

Right down to the curly tail! We had his DNA tested, and he is mostly bichon frise (American Bichon, to deduce from the shape of his head and body), but also Airedale terrier and English springer spaniel! He must get his drive to fetch from his spaniel ancestors. His hair has Airedale elements. He is a great dog, whatever his bloodline!

Wow! My dog looks just like this one. Had her DNA done by two different companies and they both said half miniature poodle, but couldn't agree on the rest.Neither came up with JR terrier. But When I got her at the shelter they told me she was a JR mix. So the mystery continues.

Thank you! She is the sweetest dog ever and since we adopted her, we kept her original name Nelly;lol not a name I would have originally picked. I got her in Petaluma Ca, but haven't seen many like her. The original owners, who didn't speak much English, said she was half french Poodle and Half fox terrier, but weren't sure. I really don't see the french poodle in her, maybe schnauzer and fox terrier? Not sure.. I got her a friend recently, a Jack Russell Terrier and their personalities compliment each other. Nelly is pretty calm, smart as hell and I call her my Princess, but Freckles is the crazy one of the house and keeps her entertained.

WOW! I am shocked to see your picture. I have an identical dog! He looks exactly like yours. We also adopted him (from the Houston Texas area). He looks so similar that I wonder if they could have been from the same litter. You wouldn't happen to have adopted yours near Houston?

Thanks for all of the comments. I still haven't figured out exactly what she is, but she is the sweetest dog ever! We got her a friend, whom she adores, a Pure Jack Russel Terrier. She is much calmer than the Jack Russell Terrier, kind of
h as a poodle attitude at times, LOl I haven't seen many like her, but a few breeders I spoke with think she is a broken coat fox terrier and poodle mix.. :)

please i going to tell you a story now and if u want to hear from me or talk to me respond on facebook first of we found exactly same dog in greece and now his like 5 years old i think we call him metri we live in georgia he hates watter and loves asking for food was it yours long ago?

we just found it it kind of followed us and we took it to berlin and then to georgia tbilisi where we live now

hello i googled terrier mix because i adopted from a pound and thats all they told me. My dog and yours could be twins! I thought it was him when i saw the pic! Everyone who i have talked to said he had to be jack russel mix. nothing for sure though

Wow, this puppy does look like a poodle-jack mix! That's awesome, maybe they won't shed like the smooth coat jacks do! LOL! You can do a DNA kit. I have seen them at cherrybrook stores, or www.cherrybrook.com, or you vet may be able to. You will pick up fox terrior, in every jack russell terrior's dna. The dna testing goes way back and picks up every type of dog in your puppies genetic history. So, you may be surprised! Very cute! How tall at the shoulders and how much does your puppy weigh?
