I love my Jack Russell Fox Terrier.Hes my best friend in the entire world.

His name is Jack and he is the cutest sweetest most loyal dog.Hes really funny too.Whenever I open the car door he jumps right in and he gets so excited when I take him for a walk and he burys his toys every where.He always remembers where he burys them.Hes very hyper and he requires alot of walking but that's OK cause I know Jack Russell's require a lot of walking and I knew that when I adopted him.

Jack isn't very good with other dogs.I put him in doggy day care three days a week and sometimes when I go pick him up from doggy day care they tell me he did great playing with the other dogs and sometimes he can be really aggressive with other dogs.I wish I could get him used to other dogs cause I would love to adopt another Jack Russell but he comes first and if he isnt going to be happy if I adopt another dog then I wont.
Anyway Jack sleeps at the foot of my bed every night. I live in a condo and I have a decent size fenced in back yard that he plays in every day.He has alot of toys that he plays with and he gets alot of treats just for being cute and sweet.I love Jack Russells.They are great dogs.

Charlie is the best dog I've ever had...granted I've only had 3 my whole 27 yrs including Charlie ( the others died of old age)
But he definitely has the most personality and loyalty! Yeah, so his goal in life is to catch a ca and he ....but while he's not worrying about that he is ALWAYS by my side. He's so loving and sweet....and needy, but i like that about him. Dumb in some ways, lol...but also extremely intelligent in others. That what I love about him :) he's goofy. Dumb: he wants to chase cars?....resulted in him getting hit by one ( he was fine, don't worry). Will do ANYTHING to catch a cat, even though the cat wins the fight every time. Oh! I saved him from drowning once cause he was chasing ducks and got too far out...
Anyway, besides that, he has an intelligence about him. It's in his eyes. He gets me. He gives me hugs, and cuddles, and can totally be a lap dog, and like I said just wants to be around me all the time. He's my puppy love, and 100% Jack. When we lived in Colorado he went everywhere with us and was a great hiking dog. He has a pretty great spoiled life. He's my baby and a huge part of our family. Jacks are definitely not for everyone, but Charlie is for us.

Casey RIP

My Casey was 16 years 6 months old when she died December 1st, 2010.

I've had other dogs, and I loved them all, but Casey was something else. Spunky, mischievous, definitely a mind of her own but incredibly loving

While, as my wife likes to say, Casey tolerated her, Casey was definitely my dog. I miss her terribly. The day I had to put her down was the worst day of my life. She was full of life, right up until about 24 hours before the end. She was wonderful but age and cancer caught up with her. Right at the end, with an I.V. in her left front leg she was happy to see me and jumped up and kissed my face with all the enthusiasm she could put into it.

Now we have two year old Misty, a Portuguese Water Dog, who is just wonderful and has done a lot to ease the pain in my heart.

As someone once said, if there's a doggy Heaven, that's where I want to go

I adore my little man. He is my best friend in the whole world. Others come and go in my life, but he is my one constant. He has adjusted well to having the adoption of kittens/cats now (we call them his babies). As well as my Grandma's poodle I inherited. I just make sure he knows he is still number one all the way around and he is very secure with the other pets. I LOVE YOU DUFFY JOHN. God be with me the day he dies-I know I will loose it. He will be creamated and placed with my ashes and will be with me forever.

I have two JRT's and love them. One is a boy and the other is a girl. They are two of my best friends and they are better than alot of people out in the world. They are truely blessings from God and my world is much better with them..

Simply the Best!

My JRT won us over right away. He is the best dog, and I love him with all my heart. My boyfriend has MS and I got the dog for him, and he did for me (in the vent he wouldn't be around down the road). Our Gatti, named after a famous Canadian boxer, Arthuro Gatta, keeps my boyfriend and I within eyesight--he runs (chases deer), but always checks on us after a little run and never lets us very far out of his sight. When either or us is sick, Gatti won't move from our side. He gets most of his walks with Ronnie, and brings me toy after toy on his return--then suddenly he comes around and lies on my lap and goes to sleep or waits for me at the bedroom door with those "come on" eyes. He has beautiful markings, with a perfect stripe down his face with one side white and the other a mix of brown and black. We have people stopping us often saying how striking he is and I always say "he's just as beautiful on the inside." When we are in the car and Ronnie gets out, he plunks his little butt down hard on me so I won't leave as well. If I try to go out, he often grabs hold of my jeans and won't let go! He loves everyone and most dogs - especially those twice his size. We found a huge, lost dog last winter and were afraid of his response on his terriroty. He tried to play with this dog and his tail never stopped wagging even when the dog ate the food we put out for him AND Gatti's food. He didn't even mind the other dog taking his bone! I could go on and on about this dog. I am 61 and never really cared to have a dog, but this one can do whatever he wants---I just love him! He will be 2 in July. BTA try blowing bubbles for your jRT if you want to have some real fun!

I love my jack russell, her name is Bella and shes 2 years old now, 3 in July. I know people say that friends come and go...but not Bells, shes the most loyal, kind and trusting friend I could ever have. I love her with all my heart. She is just the most adorable wee thing in the world! She makes me laugh more than anybody, she digs the blankets if she hears your hand under them, she brings her lead and my shoes to me when she wants a walk! She stares at the fridge if she wants something nice to eat and she even hits me with her paws if she wants some attentions, awell as nudging my hands. When she sleeps in with me at night, she always has her head on my chest or neck, just as she did when she was just a little puppy. If my partner is in bed with me she knows to sleep on the other side of me haha and sometimes she thinks shes a cat! She is the msot amazing dog I have ever met :) I love her so much

YOUR JACK SOUNDS LIKE AN ANGEL!

Hello,
Your Jack sounds just like 99.9 percent of the JRT's in this world. They are invading our minds and hearts --- Daily! I love them too and you could get another JRT, but please get a female that is 6 months to a year younger. They really need a doggie friend to be the best JRT they can be!
I loved reading your story. You made my daughter and I laugh and GOD knows we need to laugh lots in this life!!!!!!
