How do I get my beloved Bailey who is 4 yrs old to stop "pottying" in the house

This is my second JRT that Ive owned and I love this breed like no other. But, my beloved Bailey is a stinker and when I'm gone from my apt. for awhile, I come home and she has "potty-ed" on the area rugs or the carpet.

I have put her in her crate, but I don't want to have to continue to do this with her. She is 4 yrs. old and I'm thinking she should be out of that stage.

HELP! Any suggestions will be welcomed. I know it just may be separation anxiety or is she just mad that Ive gone and left her sweet self alone?
