Hind Leg Problems

My Jack Russell is a year old and I've noticed that when he is standing (only sometimes), he kind of "squats" on his hind legs only....Is this an indication of a health problem or is this normal?

I really love your website and I am so thankful you created this page. Again, sadly, I was playing with my dog today and I found out there was an egg-sized lump growing on her back. The lump was between the back and her upper hind leg. This puppy is just 9 months old. How could this be? Could it be a tumor? I am so worried and can't sleep. What should I do? Will the lump go away? So far, she eats normal, acts normal, nothing seems wrong, but the lump really scared me. Hope to hear from you soon.
