When the breeder let us know at five days old that the puppy we had chosen "wasn't available" any longer, we were devastated -- she was the color, breeding, was going to have the perfect temperamant -- but some times -- well that's why dogs have litters I guess.

But she said there may be an option -- she sent us a picture of a pup she had just purchased -- the breeder was planning on keeping her to replace an older dog in her breeding program. Well she knew how sad we were and thought this pup might fit us.

We went to see her and when she met us at the door with the puppy in her arms -- love at first sight. The little girl was puppy breath and bitey face and the look in her eye -- Naughty!!

Meet Gracie -- what a bundle -- Like a lot of jacks -- she has 2 speeds right now -- blur in motion and asleep. At 8 weeks she loves to play ball and climb to the top of anything.
