Best way to stop puppy jumping

Hello,

I have an 18 month old JRT female and we just brought home a 9 week old JRT male as a playmate.
Our girl is a bit of a jumper, especially on kids as she gets so excited.
This boy puppy is going to be VERY tall, his legs are so long. Right now he is leaping at me and jumping so high that he falls flat on his face.
I can see it becoming a major problem and I want to discourage the jumping.

Has anyone got help in stopping this behaviour? We never really stopped it with our female and she could do with stopping too, although she has short legs it's not a height issue!
