Hi sounds like your jack has the perfect personality. We have an all white female jack russell from a puppy, short lets, black spots on ears, she loves us, but her social circle is very small. She doesn't trust people easily, we live a little off the beaten path which may have contributed to not being as social and had some run ins with other large dogs coming onto our property, so she doesn't like other dogs either. Anyway it is nice to hear of a jack russell that sounds as gentle and easy going as like a beagle personality. There is nothing like the love and kisses of a dog. Our dog is a licker. I am going to have my husband make a sign like I have seen, that says CAUTION DOG CAN'T HOLD ITS LICKER Congratulations on having such a wonderful pet!
