My 8 year old rescue jack Russell Thomas hates me having visitors and

can be quite aggressive how can i stop this

I have a five year old Jack that is very aggressive with men that come to visit me the only thing i recommend is lots of exercise and a muzzle.
If i put the Muzzle on Tonka and then introduce him to people after the initial greeting he is perfectly calm, Tonka would just lunge at them as soon as he seen them and the more i held him back the worse it was but sense the muzzle i can have people over and not have to worry!
