2 year old JR alone

My working schedule has changed and I will have to leave my JR alone Mon-Fri for 7-8 hours. I am going to walk him and exercise him for an hour in the morning before I leave and after I come back. He is a very well behaved dog and never had any problems with him. I guess my question for you is, will he be ok?

my jack is alone all day during the week as well I take her on walks in the AM besides the fact I feel guilty and miss her like crazy she is totally fine until my husband gets home from work then we just give her all the attention we can the rest of the night. We also don't crate her, she is free all day, but she is not a destructive dog.
